NS-406Q Product Description
New construction housing for use in Non-IC ceilings, where insulation can be kept 3" from housing. Rated for use with one compact fluorescent lamp. NS-406EL adheres to the minimum lumens per watt ratio that qualifies to Energy Star Standards.
Mounting Frame : One piece 0.040 galvanized steel die cut frame.
Housing : 0.040 steel housing with riveted cap adjusts from 5/8" to a maximum ceiling thickness of 1-5/8". Integral spring brackets provided.
Socket : One 2-pin (NS-406Q) or 4-pin (NS-406EL) fixed socket.
Bar Hangers : Two 13-3/4" to 24-1/2" adjustable bar hangers with captive nails are included on frame. Bar hangers are parallel to junction box
