NHRIC-4G24AT Product Description
4″ GU24 Compact Fluorescent IC Airtight housings offers affordable solutions for energy savings in insulated ceiling environments. NO ballast are required for GU24 lamps, as the ballast is incorporated into the lamp itself, which means the end user can select the wattage by simply changing the lamps. Rated for direct contact with thermal insulation and meets air tight (AT) standards. IC housings offer trouble free installation and accept a wide variety of attractive finishing trims suitable for any interior.

Housing: 0.035 aluminum adjusts from 5/8" to a maximum ceiling thickness of 1-5/8". Housing terminates at 1/4" ceiling flange for even positioning of housing angle within the ceiling. Structural arm consisting of 0.050 structural steel connects housing with junction box. Fixture may be installed in areas where it will have direct contact with thermal insulation.
Air Flow Restriction
Housing has factory installed gaskets to restrict airflow from room into ceiling plenum to <2CFM (cubic feet per minute) in accordance with ASTM-283 Air-Tight requirements.
Socket
Fixed twist & lock GU24 based socket.
Mounting
Four high tension springs secure the housing to an existing sheet rock ceiling. Accommodates ceiling thickness to 5/8" (Hole cutout template provided for convenience).
Junction Box
Plaster frame integrated 25 cu. in. junction box 0.064" galvanized steel with five 1/2", two 3/4" knockouts
