NHIC-4G24AT Product Description
4″ GU24 Compact Fluorescent IC Airtight housings offers affordable solutions for energy savings in insulated ceiling environments. NO ballast are required for GU24 lamps, as the ballast is incorporated into the lamp itself, which means the end user can select the wattage by simply changing the lamps. Rated for direct contact with thermal insulation and meets air tight (AT) standards. IC housings offer trouble free installation and accept a wide variety of attractive finishing trims suitable for any interior.

CONSTRUCTION
High quality 0.040 steel die cut one piece frame.
Housing: 0.035 aluminum housing with riveted cap adjusts to adjust from 3/8" to a maximum ceiling thickness of 7/8". Spring brackets accept torsion wing trim springs.
Air Flow Restriction: Housing has factory installed gaskets to restrict airflow from room into ceiling plenum to <2CFM (cubic feet per minute) in accordance with ASTM-283 Air-Tight requirements.
Socket: Fixed GU24 socket is attached to the top of the housing

11W LED Retrofit (sold separately)
Minimum Clearance: IC housings are rated for direct contact and does not have any minimum clearance requirements
Installation: Bar hangers are adjustable from 13-5/8″ to 24-1/2″ and can be repositioned 90 degrees
Junction Box: Prewired 25 cubic inch 0.064" thick galvanized steel, with five 1/2", two 3/4" knockouts, four Romex® pryouts, and snap on covers. All leads are #18AWG wire, the ground wire is connected to the bottom, and quick connectors are supplied on all leads. Through branch circuit wiring, (4-in, 4-out).

Dimming a GU24 self-ballast compact fluorescent lamp is not recommended by Nora, unless specifically stated by lamp manufacturer. Nora's LED Retrofit is Dimmable.
